Classwork

• Grade 7:
  • Turn in the questions from the Pendulum Lab (Click here for a copy of the evaluation sheet)
  • Use a set of directions to draw someone's monster drawing. Then, get the orginal drawing from Ms. Gould. Next, answer the questions on the Monster Drawing Evaluation sheet. (Click here for a copy of the evaluation sheet)
• Grade 8:
  • Watch the Bill Nye the Science Guy episode about Matter.
  • Complete the worksheet about the video. (Click here for a copy of the worksheet)

Homework

• Grade 7:
  • By, Friday, October 13th- if you want to have a song on the class CD, bring in a song with lyrics.
  • Finish the evaluation of the monster drawing.
• Grade 8:
  • Bring in your ice cream ingredients for Friday!
  • By September 22, 2006, bring in an empty cereal box that is at least 11" tall and 4" wide (10 3/4" tall is okay, but no shorter!). The height measurements do not include the box flaps!
  • By, Friday, October 13th- if you want to have a song on the class CD, bring in a song with lyrics.
  • Finish your video worksheet.
