- Grade 7:
- Grade 8:
- Generate a list of vocabulary terms from Matter & Molecules Lesson Cluster 1
- Read the supplementary reading, "The Miracle of Water," on pages 12 & 13 of your Matter & Molecules book.
- Complete the Article Summary Web about the reading to describe the uncommon properties of water.
Homework
- Grade 7:
- By, Friday, October 13th- if you want to have a song on the class CD, bring in a song with lyrics.
- Blue group: Write down 3 ways that we could do a gum experiment in class.
- Grade 8:
- By September 22, 2006, bring in an empty cereal box that is at least 11" tall and 4" wide (10 3/4" tall is okay, but no shorter!). The height measurements do not include the box flaps!
- By, Friday, October 13th- if you want to have a song on the class CD, bring in a song with lyrics.
- Finish the Article Summary Web for the Matter & Molecules supplementary reading.
